Our projects View All Projects Reedham Children’s Trust, providing life-changing support for vulnerable children in Croydon. Reedham Children’s Trust is Croydon’s oldest dedicated children’s charity, established in 1844. We enable innovative youth projects across Croydon supporting vulnerable children, young people, and their families. We work in collaboration with other charities, voluntary organisations and schools, to enable: Improved engagement, attendance, and attainment at school Skills development for life or work Increased confidence and self-esteem Improved key life skills Food and/or food vouchers Christmas presents for over 1,300 disadvantaged children and young people each year. Our current partnerships support over 2,000 local young people per year. Reedham Children’s Trust has three core programme areas 1: Developing Community-Based Youth Hubs There are two active projects under this programme strand, with more youth hubs planned in 25/26. Croydon Schools Engagement Programme - In partnership with Croydon’s Legacy Youth Zone Croydon Safe Space Project, New Addington - In partnership with Good Food Matters Learn more about Croydon Schools EngagementLearn more about Croydon Safe Space 2: Supporting young refugees and unaccompanied asylum seekers Family Support Project - In partnership with the Croydon Refugee Day Centre Learn more about the Family Support Project. 3: Youth Innovation Fund Reedham Children’s Trust is investing in voluntary organisations within the Croydon Youth Consortium to enable them to carry out unique and innovative collaborations. The emphasis is on partnership and testing a new way of working to support more young people. New project applications are invited on an annual basis.
