We understand that many families are facing incredibly difficult times, and we are often contacted by people in urgent need of food or financial support.

While we would truly love to help everyone who reaches out, Reedham Children’s Trust is not able to provide direct food donations or emergency financial support to individuals.

Each year at Christmas only, we run a special appeal where we collect gifts, food and monetary donations. These funds are used to provide supermarket food vouchers and support, which we distribute directly to local schools and established food banks, particularly where a high number of children are being supported.

Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to individual requests.

If You Need Immediate Food Support

If you are looking for help with food, we strongly encourage you to contact your local food bank or community support service directly.

For services in Croydon, you can search for local food banks and food support organisations here:

https://croydon.simplyconnect.uk
Simply type “food bank” and enter your postcode to find services near you.

If you live outside Croydon, your local council’s website will usually list food banks and community food support in your area.

If you are unsure where to start, local schools, GP surgeries, libraries and community centres can also help direct you to appropriate support services.

We are so sorry that we cannot offer direct assistance, but we truly hope the organisations above can provide the support you need. Please do reach out to them; they are there to help.
